DOG DAYS OF SUMMER

What a gorgeous day it was today! A morning that started off cloudy soon became a sunny day.

Currently, I am dog sitting for my Aunt and Uncle’s English Bulldog. Her name is Chummy and she is a 50 lb. bundle of love. I love dogs as I’ve mentioned before.

I have actually learned a lot about bulldogs watching Chummy. Because of her short snout, she has to have a special water and food bowl with ridges, so she doesn’t drink or eat too fast. Otherwise she will get a tummy ache.

She also gets hot easily and can have trouble breathing when she gets too hot, so she loves spending time in the air conditioning after playing outside.

I take her for a long walk when its cool in the evening right before bed. She is a great sleeper, but man does she snore!
