Nothing says summer in Baltimore more than a lemon stick! A Baltimore summer tradition that supposedly began at Mt. Vernon’s FlowerMart consists of two ingredients: a peppermint stick and a fresh lemon. It is the simplest recipe, but the secret is you need the correct peppermint stick. A candy cane won’t work.
